What happened

During a local training mission departing from Roseau-Canefield Airport, a twin engine aircraft experienced a catastrophic failure during its initial climb. The flight, which was being operated by two pilots, lost stability and entered an uncontrolled descent. The aircraft subsequently impacted the water approximately 275 metres from the coastline.

All two individuals on board, consisting of the crew members, lost their lives in the accident. The impact with the sea resulted in the total destruction of the airframe.
