What happened
During the landing phase on runway 27, the aircraft performed an approach with an incorrect configuration. This error resulted in the plane contacting the runway surface approximately 450 meters beyond the threshold. The aircraft reached the ground at a high velocity of 130 knots.
Immediately following the touchdown, the right tire suffered a burst. This mechanical failure caused the pilot to lose directional control, leading the airplane to veer off the paved surface. The sequence ended when the plane came to a stop off the runway.
Findings
- The primary factor in the excursion was an incorrect approach configuration.
- All four occupants on board were able to evacuate the aircraft without sustaining any injuries.
- Although there were no casualties, the aircraft sustained damage that rendered it a total loss.
