What happened
During a flight through adverse weather conditions, an aircraft traveling at an altitude of 10,000 feet collided with a mountain slope. The impact occurred within the Sierra de las Minas region, situated approximately 20 km south of Panzós. Due to the difficult terrain and environmental conditions, rescue teams required several hours to access the wreckage.
The accident resulted in 26 fatalities among the occupants. While five passengers sustained serious injuries and survived the initial impact, four of these individuals later passed away due to the severity of their wounds.
