An aircraft experienced a left bank immediately following takeoff, resulting in a crash landing and subsequent fire near an occupied home.

What happened

Shortly after departing the runway, the aircraft entered a left bank that led to a loss of control. The flight path took the plane through a line of trees and across a perimeter fence. The sequence ended when the aircraft came to a halt in close proximity to a residence inhabited by senior officers of the Strategic Air Command.

Following the impact, a fire broke out within the wreckage. Despite the intensity of the post-crash flames, all 12 occupants were successfully extracted from the plane. The aircraft was completely destroyed during the incident.
