What happened
During an approach to Daegu Airport, an aircraft entered a descent while operating in unfavorable weather conditions. While navigating toward the destination, the plane struck the side of a mountain situated near Maedong, approximately 26 km northeast of the intended landing site.
The impact occurred during the descent phase of the flight. The accident resulted in seven fatalities, with no survivors reported among the crew members on board.
