What happened
During an afternoon sightseeing excursion over Fernandópolis, a twin-engine aircraft departed from Fernandópolis Airport carrying a crew of one pilot and five passengers. At the time of the departure, meteorological conditions were characterized by heavy fog, which had reduced visibility to approximately 40 metres above the ground.
Shortly after the aircraft became airborne, the pilot lost control of the plane. The aircraft subsequently crashed and ignited upon impact. The accident resulted in one fatality and five injuries, with two of the injured individuals reported to be in serious condition. The impact and subsequent fire caused the total destruction of the aircraft.
