The incident occurred while the plane was on its final approach to the airport. Following the loss of propulsion, the aircraft entered a stall and descended approximately 2 km before the runway threshold, where it impacted the ground.

All 10 occupants on board sustained injuries during the impact. The aircraft was completely destroyed in the crash.
