What happened
During a scheduled training mission near Tenterfield, a twin-engine aircraft was performing a series of touch-and-go maneuvers at the Ag Strip, located approximately 20 km east of the Tenterfield area. Following the takeoff phase, the aircraft entered its initial climb. During this ascent, the plane made contact with a tree, which led to an aerodynamic stall. The impact caused the aircraft to crash and subsequently burst into flames.
