What happened
During an approach to the airport at Quy Nhơn, an aircraft impacted the water surface several kilometers before reaching the runway. The flight was being conducted under Visual Flight Rules (VFR) conditions, but the area was experiencing significant rainfall at the time of the accident. This heavy rain resulted in restricted visibility for the crew.
Upon striking the sea, the impact caused a fatal accident involving all occupants on board. The incident resulted in two fatalities and three serious injuries. The casualties included both passengers and members of the flight crew.
