Prior to departure, the pilot performed pre-flight preparations and refueled the aircraft with 210 liters of AI-95 gasoline. The pilot utilized information from windy.com for meteorological decision-making rather than requesting official reports from a meteorological agency. The aircraft departed Kedrovo at 16:03 with three passengers on board.
During the takeoff phase from the water surface, the aircraft entered a stall. The incident occurred in the area of the Shalsky settlement within the Onega Lake basin. The aircraft subsequently landed on the water at 17:32.
No injuries or fatalities were reported following the accident. The pilot had planned an intermediate stop in the Onega Lake area for one hour to view local landmarks.
