On August 30, 2025, an SP-30K aircraft, registration RA-0142A, was involved in an aviation incident near the settlement of Grazdanovka in the Bondarsky District of the Tambov Region. The flight was intended for aerial chemical treatment as part of a verbal agreement with a local farmer.
The flight originated from the "Zarya" landing area in the Tambov District. The pilot attempted to reach a landing area located in a field approximately 3 km west of the village of Grazhdanka. During the flight, the pilot failed to notify air traffic control authorities of the planned operations in Class G airspace.
During the operation, the aircraft collided with trees located within a forest belt. This collision was caused by a delayed maneuver intended to gain enough altitude to clear the obstacle, which subsequently led to the aircraft impacting the ground. The impact resulted in one fatality.
Investigations noted that the pilot-in-command did not possess a valid pilot certificate required for the operation of this aircraft type. Additionally, the flight was conducted without the necessary notifications to flight control authorities as required by air rules.
