On April 23, 2021, an N-6all aircraft with registration RA-2722G was involved in a fatal accident approximately 1.5 km southeast of the Rysevo settlement in the Cheremkhovsky District, Russia. The flight was being conducted for personal reasons by the captain and a passenger.
The aircraft was based in a hangar located near the southern outskirts of Rysevo. On the day of the accident, the captain and two companions arrived at the hangar via private vehicle. The aircraft was taxied out of the hangar and refueled using 40 liters of gasoline purchased at a roadside station during the trip to the flight location.
At the time of the accident, the flight was intended to take place within Class C airspace. However, no flight plan had been submitted to air traffic control authorities prior to the flight.
The accident resulted in two fatalities, involving both the pilot and the passenger.
