On August 31, 2019, an Elitar-Sigma C4E-006, registration RA-1955G, was scheduled to perform two flights near the village of Minino in the Klin district. The pilot had planned the flights for the first half of the day in Class C airspace, though no flight plan had been submitted to air traffic control. The aircraft was stored in a hangar on the northeastern outskirts of Minino.
Prior to the accident, the pilot refueled the aircraft using fuel from a Lukoil gas station. The pilot and a companion completed a 15-minute flight at approximately 11:05 AM. A second flight was initiated at 11:30 AM with a passenger. The flight arrangements had been made in advance via mobile phone as a birthday gift for a passenger.
During the flight operations, the aircraft RA-1955G was involved in an accident that resulted in one fatality. The pilot did not undergo a pre-flight medical examination, a practice permitted under FAP-128 when no medical professional is available at the airfield.
The accident occurred during the execution of maneuvers, leading to a collision with the ground.
