On July 10, 2024, a C172-0381 aircraft, registration RA-2431G, was scheduled to perform flights within airspace classes C and G. The flight plan involved a route starting and ending at a landing site near the settlement of Kamskoye Ustye, with a waypoint near the settlement of Bolgar, at an altitude of 850 meters MSL.
The pilot arrived at the Kamskoye Ustye landing site at approximately 05:00 to prepare for the flight. While the flight plan had been officially accepted by the State Corporation for Air Traffic Management, the exact amount of fuel on board could not be determined due to a lack of records in the aircraft logbook. Meteorological conditions were favorable for takeoff.
The first leg of the flight departed at 05:35. After completing the route toward Bolgar, the aircraft landed back at the departure site at 06:05. Following this landing, the passengers were swapped, and three new passengers boarded the aircraft. The takeoff weight was approximately 1045 kg, and the center of gravity was 1052 mm, both of which were within the manufacturer's limits.
A second takeoff occurred at 06:23. During this phase of flight in the area of Bolgar, the aircraft encountered a stall condition at a low altitude, leading to a collision with the ground. The accident resulted in three fatalities.
