What happened
On a night charter flight traveling from San Juan to Córdoba, a twin-engine aircraft was performing its final approach to Córdoba-Ambrosio Taravella Airport. The flight was carrying two crew members and seven passengers at the time of the accident. During the descent, the flight crew encountered weather conditions that significantly reduced visibility.
While attempting to land, the aircraft descended below the established glide path and struck an inner marker antenna. The impact occurred approximately 700 meters before the threshold of runway 18, resulting in a crash. The accident resulted in six fatalities, including both pilots and four passengers, while three passengers sustained serious injuries.
