What happened
A liaison flight traveling from Campo de Mayo Air Force Base in Buenos Aires toward General Villegas ended in a fatal accident. While the crew was performing the approach to General Villegas Airport, the aircraft encountered severe meteorological conditions, including heavy rainfall, intense turbulence, and thunderstorm activity. During this period of extreme weather, the flight crew lost control of the aircraft. The twin-engine plane subsequently crashed a short distance from the airfield. There were four fatalities among the occupants of the aircraft, which carried the registrations GN-705 and LV-OIF.
