What happened
Following the completion of its landing at Kalongo Airstrip, a twin engine airplane experienced a loss of control. During the excursion, the aircraft overturned, resulting in the plane coming to rest in an inverted position. The impact caused significant structural damage, specifically resulting in the right wing being torn from the airframe.
Despite the severity of the overturned position and the damage to the wings, there were no casualties reported. Both the pilots managed to exit the aircraft and were able to escape the scene uninjured.
Findings
No specific underlying causes for the loss of control were documented in the initial report regarding the landing sequence.
