What happened
On December 14, 2023, at approximately 18:38 UTC, a Pilatus PC12/45, registered as N188PC, was conducting an instrument flight (IFR) from Jacksonville, Florida, to San Angelo, Texas. While attempting to land at San Angelo Regional Airport (KSJT), the aircraft entered a missed approach procedure. During this maneuver, the aircraft struck an open field near Christoval, Texas, south of San Angelo. The impact caused substantial damage to the aircraft.
