What happened
During a positioning flight from Buenos Aires-Ezeiza-Ministro Pistarini Airport to Buenos Aires-Aeroparque-dis Jorge Newbury Airport, an aircraft experienced a critical loss of lift during the initial climb. Prior to the departure, the captain had deactivated the Stall Alarm System, though the motivation for this action was not established.
Immediately following takeoff from runway 17, the aircraft struggled to maintain an adequate climb gradient. At a very low altitude, the landing gear was retracted. This sequence led to the left wing stalling and making contact with the runway surface. The aircraft subsequently lost control, impacting the ground and sliding several dozen meters. The flight ended when the aircraft overran the runway and came to a stop in an adjacent field.
Findings
- The aircraft sustained damage that rendered it a total loss.
- There were no injuries reported among the two pilots on board.
- A primary contributing factor was the deactivation of the Stall Alarm System prior to takeoff.
