What happened
On March 9, 2014, at 12:25 UTC, a Piper PA28R-301T Arrow, registration OK-POL, was involved in a ground collision at Příbram Airport (LKPM). The pilot had taken over the aircraft from a hangar area on the asphalt apron, intending to perform a flight to Tábor (LKTA) and back.
After starting the engine and increasing power, the aircraft began its taxi roll. During the maneuver, the aircraft veered to the left. Before the pilot could intervene by reducing power, applying right rudder, or applying the brakes, the left wing of the OK-POL struck the front lower fuselage of a parked L-4/410, registration OK-SAS. The L-410 was positioned on the asphalt parking area adjacent to the taxiway, with its nose extending approximately 1.5 meters into the active taxiway area.
There were no injuries to the crew of either aircraft. The collision caused damage to the left wing of the PA28R-301T Arrow and minor abrasions to the fuselage of the L-410.
