The crew was engaged in a local training exercise out from RAF Pembrey. Almost immediately after takeoff, while climbing in heavy rain falls, the airplane went out of control and crashed. All four crew members were killed. Crew: W/O Frederick John McDaniel, pilot, Lac John Charles Noble, wireless operator and air gunner, Lac Reginald R. I.
