Alleima extends contract to supply titanium tubing for Airbus programmes
Swedish materials maker Alleima has expanded and extended its long-running supply partnership with Airbus, adding seamless titanium tubing to its existing deliveries of stainless steel components.
Alleima, a Swedish materials manufacturer, has deepened its long-standing partnership with Airbus. The two companies have extended their agreement for what Alleima described as the longest contract period they have had together, while also broadening its scope.
Neither the exact duration of the new deal nor its financial value was disclosed by Alleima.
Under the expanded arrangement, Alleima will supply seamless titanium tubing for Airbus programmes on a larger scale than before. The company already provides stainless steel tubing to Airbus. According to Alleima, these products are used in aircraft hydraulic systems, oxygen lines and fuel systems.
Alleima manufactures tubing for the aerospace industry at sites in the United States, Germany and China, in addition to its home base in Sandviken, Sweden.
