American Airlines takes 10th Airbus A321XLR, expects 12 by year end
American Airlines has received its 10th Airbus A321XLR, with deliveries continuing through the year as the carrier builds out its long-range narrowbody fleet.
American Airlines took delivery of another Airbus A321XLR, tail number N307NY, on September 26, 2026. It joins N308NY, which arrived at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport three days earlier, according to flight tracking data.
With those two aircraft and N315XR, in service since August, the carrier's A321XLR fleet stands at 10, according to Planespotters.net. American expects 12 by the end of the year.
