Attestor to take full ownership of Condor by 2027

Investor Attestor is taking over the remaining 49 percent of Condor, the German airline's shareholder structure is being reorganised after state aid was repaid early in spring 2026.

The stake had been held through SG Luftfahrtgesellschaft on behalf of the federal government and the state of Hesse. The move rests on a purchase option agreed when Attestor first invested in 2021. Completion of the takeover is planned for 31 August 2027.

Attestor took a stake in Condor in 2021 and has held 51 percent of the airline since then. The federal government and Hesse stepped in to stabilise the carrier after the insolvency of its then parent Thomas Cook and during the coronavirus pandemic.
