La Compagnie will start flying between Düsseldorf Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport in spring 2027. The all-business-class carrier plans up to five weekly flights on the route and will be the only airline offering direct service between the two airports once it begins.
The airline said Düsseldorf is one of Europe's most important economic centers, and the expansion responds to clear demand in North Rhine-Westphalia, a region with deep and longstanding ties to the US. CEO Christian Vernet called the new route a natural next chapter in the airline's development.
La Compagnie will use an Airbus A321LR for the service. The carrier currently operates two of that type and expects to add another A321LR in 2027, followed by an A321XLR in 2028. Its existing network includes Newark flights to Paris Orly, Nice, and Milan Malpensa. The A321LR aircraft have 76 lie-flat seats in a 2-2 layout.
