A passenger disturbance broke out aboard a United Airlines flight from San Francisco to London, prompting the crew to ask for security and police to meet the aircraft at Heathrow.
The flight, UA930, was flown by a Boeing 787-9 registered N61109. It left San Francisco International Airport at about 02:45 UTC and touched down on Heathrow's runway 27R at 2pm local time.
Crew members classified the episode as a Level 2 incident involving a man and a woman. What the two said or did has not been made public, and it is not known whether anyone was hurt. That the crew sought ground intervention indicates the matter was treated as serious enough to need authorities waiting at the gate.
The 787-9 is among the carrier's newest examples of the type, delivered in July 2026 and entering service the following month. There was no word on whether passengers were held or whether police acted after the plane arrived.
