The Federal Aviation Administration has issued a new airworthiness directive affecting Embraer E190 and E195 family airplanes.

The Federal Aviation Administration published an airworthiness directive designated as AD 2023-10-01 for certain Embraer S.A. airplanes. This regulatory action applies to the Embraer E190 and E195 family of aircraft. The directive specifically addresses type certificates previously held by Yaborã Indústria Aeronáutica S.A. as well as those currently held by Embraer S.A. The airworthiness directive became effective on June 20, 2023, following its publication on June 5, 2023. This action is intended to address an unsafe condition in the affected airplane models.
