The National Transportation Safety Board has issued safety recommendation number A-11-019, designated as DCA08MA085, addressed directly to the Federal Aviation Administration. This directive requires the agency to enforce compliance with 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 121, Part 135, and Part 91 subpart K operators, as well as Part 142 training schools. These entities must incorporate specific information from revised manufacturers’ Aircraft Flight Manuals into their own operational manuals and training programs. This requirement is linked to the details previously requested in Safety Recommendation A-11-18. The recommendation aims to ensure that all relevant aviation personnel have access to the most current and accurate flight manual data provided by aircraft manufacturers, thereby supporting standardized safety practices across different regulatory categories of air transportation and training institutions.
