The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has issued Safety Recommendation A-15-006, designated under reference DCA14SS009. This directive is addressed to the Federal Aviation Administration and requires that all newly manufactured transport category aircraft incorporate adequate protections against disabling flight recorder systems. The issuance of this recommendation supersedes the previous Safety Recommendation A-00-31.
