The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has issued Recommendation A-15-019, identified by NTSB number DCA15MA019, addressed to the Federal Aviation Administration. This directive calls for the FAA to work in collaboration with the Commercial Spaceflight Federation to develop and issue comprehensive human factors guidance. The intended purpose of this guidance is to assist operators throughout the design and operation phases of crewed vehicles.
