The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has issued safety recommendation CEN16MA036, designated as A-16-044, addressed directly to Textron Aviation. This directive requires the manufacturer to work jointly with the Federal Aviation Administration and Hawker 700- and 800-series training centers. The primary objective is to develop a clear definition for the term landing assured. This definition must be incorporated into the pilot training programs for the Hawker 700- and 800-series aircraft. The new terminology must align precisely with the language established in 14 Code of Federal Regulations 91.175(c)(1). This measure aims to ensure that training standards reflect current regulatory requirements for landing operations.
