NTSB Recommends FAA Training for Air Traffic Control Supervisors

The NTSB recommends the FAA provide training to supervisors on handling controller errors during actual traffic operations.

The NTSB recommends that the Federal Aviation Administration provide direction and training to all first-line air traffic control supervisors regarding the immediate courses of action that should be taken if they observe a controller under their supervision making an error while working actual traffic that would create a dangerous situation.
