NTSB Recommends FAA Review Flap Position Verification in Training Manuals

The NTSB has issued a recommendation for the FAA to ensure flap position verification is included in stall recognition and recovery procedures.

The NTSB recommends that the Federal Aviation Administration direct all principal operations inspectors to review the training and operations manuals of their assigned air carriers and ensure that the verification of flap position during stall recognition and recovery procedures is a part of those procedures.
