NTSB Recommends Firefighting and Law Enforcement Agreements for Grand Canyon Airport
The National Transportation Safety Board has issued recommendations for improved emergency coordination at Grand Canyon National Park Airport.
The NTSB recommends that the Arizona Department of Transportation, Grand Canyon National Park Airport develop mutual aid agreements with off-airport firefighting, law enforcement, and medical agencies and conduct airport familiarization tours for these agencies.
