NTSB Recommends FAA Action on DC-10 Flap/Slat Disagree Logic

The National Transportation Safety Board has issued a recommendation for the Federal Aviation Administration to address a takeoff warning system issue.

The National Transportation Safety Board recommends that the Federal Aviation Administration require McDonnell Douglas Corporation to redesign the flap/slat disagree logic of the DC-10 airplane (all models) takeoff warning system as necessary to reduce the probability of a nuisance warning.
