Synopsis

Flight crew reported loss of fluid from the left hydraulic system in flight. After completing the required checklists the flight crew elected to continue to destination airport and made a safe landing.

Narrative

While in cruise flight from ZZZ-ZZZ1; we received a L HYD QTY Engine Indicating and Crew Alerting System msg. We looked at the STATUS screen and saw that the HYD fluid level in the L system was showing below .50 and a magenta RF was displayed. We complied with the checklist for L HYD QTY to try to minimize fluid loss; but the QTY was still dropping. We then ran the L HYD SYS PRESS checklist since the leak was still continuing. We then contacted dispatch after conferring as a crew that we would be continuing to ZZZ1 and planning on a flaps 20 landing per the checklist. We elected to [request priority handling] with ATC and informed them of the situation. We briefed the flight attendants and the passengers on the situation prior to descent into ZZZ1. We accomplished a normal descent and flaps 20 landing in ZZZ1 with vehicles standing by. We were able to taxi off of the runway safely. Emergency personnel inspected the aircraft for damage but only noted the HYD fluid leaking with no other concerns noted. We elected to taxi to the gate under our own power with the vehicles following us closely. We safely arrived at the gate without issue.
