Shorts SD3 First Officer reported brake malfunction during landing resulted in a temporary loss of control and flat tire.
The flight departed from ZZZ1 to ZZZ airport. 1;500 feet we level off and proceeded to checklist. The Captain and I self briefed for a normal approach at ZZZ. The Tower reported the wind 100 at 3kts. The before landing checklist and final checks were performed normally. Full flaps were used. The approach was performed approximately at VREF+10 and touchdown at approximately VREF. It was a normal landing but after that; the aircraft felt like moving slightly sideways with a strange noise. The aircraft was in control until further deceleration were it drifted slightly to the left and came to a complete stop. After that;the aircraft didn't move by its own power. When we got out of the aircraft; the left tire was deflated. The aircraft had to be moved by the airport authorities by a fire truck. My first impression after the incident was that the left brake was locked; because no brakes were used during the touchdown. The day after the incident the mechanics arrived at the airport and installed a new tire. After that;they tried to rotate it; and it didn't work. So they decided to take out the new tire and install a new brake. This time it worked which confirmed my theory of the locked brake.
