LOST COM PROC USED BY ACR HVT CREW AFTER UNABLE TO ESTABLISH RADIO CONTACT WITH TRACON DEP CTLR.
AFTER DEP FROM ORLANDO 18L; CONTACTED ORLANDO DEP AND GIVEN HDG 140 DEGS; CLB 5000 FT. LOST COMS WITH DEP AS CTLR'S VOICE WAS CUT OFF IN MID-SENTENCE. LEVELED AT 5000 FT AND BEGAN TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM. NO RESPONSE ON RADIO #1; #2; OR #3; HOWEVER; ABLE TO HEAR INTERMITTENT TRANSMISSIONS. HEARD RPTS OF STUCK MIKE ON FREQ. WENT THROUGH PROCESS OF TROUBLESHOOTING IF IT WAS OUR MICROPHONES THAT WERE CAUSING PROBLEM. ABLE TO REESTABLISH COM WITH DEP BY BROADCASTING ON 124.8 AND LISTENING ON 120.15. RECEIVED CLRNC TO TURN TO HDG 290 DEGS AND CLB TO 12000 FT. LEVELED AT 12000 FT AND AGAIN LOST COMS WITH DEP. AFTER SEVERAL MINS; REESTABLISHED COMS WITH DEP AND WERE GIVEN CLRNC TO PROCEED TO FRITZ? THEN SAV; AND CONTACT ZJX 134.0. UNABLE TO LOCATE FRITZ INTXN OR FIX; AND UNABLE TO CONTACT ZJX ON 134.0. ATTEMPTED TO REESTABLISH XCHANNEL COM AND THIS DID NOT WORK. PROCEEDED DIRECT TO SAV WHICH WAS ON OUR ORIGINAL FLT PLAN. CONTINUED TO REESTABLISH COMS AND TROUBLESHOOT PROBLEM. SQUAWKED 7700 AND THEN 7600 AFTER 1 MIN. SENT MESSAGE TO COMPANY NOT ON ACARS; AND MONITORED CRG VOR. POS WAS APPROX 70 NM S OF CRG. ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT COMPANY FLT CTL ON 124.92 AND WAS ABLE TO RELAY OUR SITUATION AND POS. CONTINUED TO TROUBLESHOOT RADIOS AND WAS ABLE TO REESTABLISH COM WITH ZJX ON 134.0. RECEIVED CLRNC TO CLB TO FL240. ALL RADIOS WORKED FINE AFTER THIS POINT. CONTINUED TO JFK WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. APPROX 13 MINS FROM WHEN DEP PROBLEM BEGAN. I BELIEVE SOMEHOW THE RADIOS WERE DISABLED BY WATER AS IT HAD BEEN RAINING IN ORLANDO ALL DAY. THE RADIOS SHOWED NO CONSISTENT PATTERN OF WHICH XMITTER OR MICROPHONE OR FREQ WOULD OR WOULD NOT WORK.
