B737 Captain reported on the side-by visual approach procedure compliance with multiple RA alerts resulted in an unstable approach; low altitude alert; and a go around.
While flying the base leg for a visual approach for XXR; ATC gave us the position of paired parallel traffic; both pilots had the paired traffic in sight. ATC assigned a speed reduction to 160 knots; assigned heading to intercept the final approach course for XXR and we were cleared for the visual approach. As we approached our course for final; we received a TCAS TA while at the same time a clearance to land XXR was received. the aircraft we were paired with was in sight and slightly high and off of our left hand side and on approach for XXL. After the TA was received; we shallowed our final approach intercept angle to reduce the potential for an RA and the auto pilot was disconnected and airspeed reduced. However this attempt to create lateral separation did not work and a descend TCAS RA was received. A descent was immediately initiated and RA complied with and tower notified of the RA response. Several descend" and "maintain altitude" and subsequent "descend" alerts were received and complied with. Once clear of the RA we notified tower who issued a low altitude alert and to state intensions; we immediately stated we were going around and we initiated a go around. Tower instructed a climb to 3;000 feet and to fly runway heading. Passengers and flight attendants were notified and briefed on the go around. A normal approach and landing was conducted."
