Synopsis

B737 Captain reported safely continuing to their destination after loss of System B hydraulic pressure.

Narrative

At cruise approx 45 minutes from landing ZZZ we noticed the caution light flickering. No associated recall item would yet illuminate. I immediately pulled up the system page and found the B sys hydraulic quantity was at 0 and the pressure was holding normal. We discussed a possible sensor failure of the sys B quantity indicator. Within a minute the sys B engine hydraulic pump pressure low light illuminated. We accomplished the appropriate checklist and placed the engine driven pump into the off position. Shortly after; hydraulic pressure was lost and we accomplished the Loss of System B hydraulic checklist. We requested priority handling and asked for emergency services to be standing by in ZZZ to check over the airplane and check brake temps. We stayed in the deferred items checklists and accomplished an otherwise uneventful flap 15 landing. Emergency services checked over the aircraft and cleared us to proceed to the gate. We requested they follow. We parked at gate XX and deplaned normally.
