Air carrier Captain reported experiencing a glide slope aural alert on short final. The flight crew corrected the glide path and landed safely.

Narrative

Recieved a glide slope" aural alert on short final on an empty repo flight into ZZZ runway XX. Winds were 300 20g30 LLWS advisory was in affect. PF was hand flying visually and was trending low on ILS glide slope I made mention and they started correcting a gust hit us and the aural alert sounded for a moment the PF again corrected. We continued as the PAPI showed us still stable and we were in a normal position to land. He landed normally and we exited at our briefed taxiway. I do not think we were unstable hence why we continued but since the aural alert sounded I wanted to make sure to have a record of the event if I was asked about it at a later date.Cause: Flying empty in higher winds made the approach more challenging. PF was flying visually but became low on short final per the Glideslope but not via PAPI causing a "glide slope" aural alert.Suggestion: 'I could have flown the leg since the FO just came back from an extended leave and hadn't flown empty in awhile let alone in on top of gusty winds. Also clearer communication about if he was visually using the papi or utilizing the ils glide slope could've been helpful in the moment."
