Synopsis
B767 Captain reported encountering wake turbulence on descent into EGLL that resulted in an inflight upset. Crew regained control and landed safely.
Narrative
Upon leaving the hold at Bovingdon; we hit some significant wake turbulence. I don't believe we changed altitude by more than 100 ft. I'm not sure how much bank angle we ended up at or our heading change. We did get a GPS 'bank angle' alert. The flying FO made the recovery. No injuries reported.
