Air carrier Captain reported sliding uncontrollably during taxi in on the lead in line. Captain brought the aircraft to a stop and aircraft was towed in.

Narrative

After arrival into ZZZ our gate was changed to XX. Conditions were clear VMC with no precipitation. While on J line approximately 15 feet from stopping the aircraft began sliding to the right uncontrollably. I was able to get the aircraft stopped without hitting anything with gentle brake application. We set the parking brake and shut down and were uneventfully towed remainder of distance to gate.
