Synopsis

Air carrier Captain reported seeing trees on approach to MDST Runway 29 that appear to be unusually tall and close.

Narrative

The trees on approach to MDST Runway 29 seem rather tall. In years of flying into Santiago this was my first approach to Runway 29. While the MDAs for Runway 29 are all above 500 AGL so pilots should be visual below that… at 200 feet the trees seemed unusually tall/close. I'm not sure if there are Terminal Instrument Procedures (TERPS) criteria for close in trees?
