ACR X AND ACR Y DSCNT TO SAME ALT BOTH HAD TCASII RA CLB HAD LTSS. EVASIVE ACTION CLB.
UPON XING THE MARION VOR (MWA) AND INITIATING A L TURN FROM A HDG OF 310 DEGS TO 275 DEGS TO JOIN THE ARR (QBALL2); ACR X REQUESTED FROM ATC A CLRNC FOR DSCNT OUT OF FL260 OR A HDG FOR ST LOUIS TO AVOID TSTMS. ATC ADVISED THAT THEY HAD BEEN TRYING TO GIVE US A CLRNC TO FL240 3 TIMES. THE CAPT OF ACR X THEN REPLIED THAT WE NEVER HEARD OR ACCEPTED THE CLRNC. ATC THEN CLRED ACR X TO DSND AND MAINTAIN FL240. WHILE IN A 10 DEG L TURN AND STARTING TO DSND; AT APPROX FL258; OUR TCASII INDICATED A TA AND DEPICTED TFC DIRECTLY ON THE SPOT OF THE ACFT SYMBOL ON THE TCASII DISPLAY. IMMEDIATELY THEREAFTER WE RECEIVED AN AUDIO 'CLB; CLB' RA. WE THEN INITIATED A CLB. THE AUDIO THEN SAID 'INCREASE CLB' WHICH WE RESPONDED TO BY CLBING INTO THE GREEN ARC DISPLAYED (2000-2500 FPM). THE TCASII DISPLAY SHOWED A RED SQUARE AT 1 O'CLOCK PLUS 200 FT AND A CLB TREND. WE INCREASED OUR BANK ANGLE TO 30-40 DEGS WHILE CLBING. UPON REACHING FL267 THE CONFLICT WAS DECLARED OVER. WE ADVISED ATC THAT WE WERE FOLLOWING THE RA AND WHEN IT WAS OVER WE ADVISED ATC AND THEY THEN CLRED ACR X TO FL260. DURING THIS MANEUVER ANOTHER ACFT ALSO RPTED THEY HAD COMPLIED WITH AN RA ON OUR ATC FREQ 134.42. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION FROM ACN 243676: ACR Y INBOUND TO ST LOUIS FOR QBALL ARR; FO FLYING; COMMUNICATING WITH ZKC. DEVIATED E OF ARR FOR WX OVER CAPE GRANDEAU. WAS DSNDED FROM FL350 TO FL310; THEN FL280. BEING VECTORED NWESTERLY; THEM MORE WESTERLY. ACR Y GIVEN R TURN TO 360 DEGS; DSND TO FL240; WHILE DSNDING AND TURNING; THEN DIRECTED TO LEVEL AT FL270. REPLIED TO CTR ALREADY BELOW FL270. WHILE CHANGING VERT DIRECTION; TCASII RA ADVISORY ACTIVATED. LOWEST ALTIMETER READING ABOUT 26400 FT WITH WINGS LEVEL; QUICKLY RETURNED TO FL270 ON 350 DEG HDG. HEARD OTHER ACFT ADVISE RA; LEVEL AT FL260 AND NEAR MISS OF 200 FT. CTR ALSO ADVISED OF OUR RA. NEW TFC CTL VOICE ASSUMED RESPONSIBILITY.
