IT IS ALLEGED THAT 2 LTT'S HAD AN NMAC WHILE ON APCH AT IYK.
AT APPROX 20 MI FROM IYK; WITH IYK IN SIGHT; FLT FOLLOWING WAS TERMINATED; FREQ CHANGE REQUESTED. A DSCNT WAS STARTED FROM 9500 FT ACCOMPANIED WITH A DSCNT AND APCH CHKLIST. AT APPROX 15 MI; A RADIO CALL WAS MADE ON IYK CTAF 122.8 INDICATING I WAS 15 MI SE WITH PLANS TO ENTER L TFC FOR RWY 20 IYK; AND A REQUEST FOR ANY OTHER TFC TO ADVISE OF THEIR POS. NO RESPONSE (LNDG RWY WAS DETERMINED FROM COMPANY RPTED WINDS 230/15 GUSTING 20). AT 10 MI; A 10 MI CALL WAS MADE INDICATING L TFC RWY 20; IYK DSNDING THROUGH 6000 FT. AT 5 MI; A 5 MI CALL WAS MADE INDICATING L TFC RWY 20 IYK. UPON ENTERING DOWNWIND A CALL WAS MADE ENTERING L DOWNWIND RWY 20 IYK. A CALL WAS MADE AT L BASE AND FINAL FOR RWY 20 IYK. NO OTHER ACFT RADIO CALLS WERE MADE ON 122.8 FROM 15 MI OUT TILL LNDG. LNDG ACCOMPLISHED WITHOUT APPARENT INCIDENT. POST LNDG CHKS COMPLETED AFTER CLRING RWY 20. AT THIS TIME IT WAS NOTICED THAT AN ACR B LTT WAS LNDG RWY 20. UPON ENTERING THE TERMINAL AND MAKING PREPARATIONS FOR THE RETURN TRIP TO LAX; I WAS APCHED BY A PAX APPARENTLY FROM THE ACR B FLT; STATING THAT SOMETHING NEEDED TO BE DONE ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED AND THAT SHE WON'T BE FLYING AGAIN TILL SOMETHING IS DONE. IN AN ATTEMPT TO FIND OUT WHAT SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT SHE WALKED AWAY. AT THIS TIME THE CAPT FROM THE ACR B FLT APCHED OUR COUNTER STATING THAT WAS CLOSE; DIDN'T YOU SEE US. I SAID NO AND THAT I HAD NOT HEARD ANY RADIO CALLS AND THAT I HAD MADE ALL THE APPROPRIATE CALLS. IN AN ATTEMPT TO GET MORE INFO I URGED THE CAPT TO EXPLAIN FURTHER; BUT HE DEPARTED WITHOUT COMMENT. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH REPORTER REVEALED THE FOLLOWING: RPTR WAS UNABLE TO ADD TO THE INFO CONTAINED IN HIS RPT. HE CAN ONLY SURMISE THAT THE 2 ACFT WERE BOTH ON FINAL APCH AT THE SAME TIME. HE HAS BEEN UNABLE TO CONTACT THE PLT OF THE OTHER ACFT.
