CABIN ATTENDANT INJURED ON A FALL ON TKOF.
DUE TO SHORT TAXI TIME; THE FLT ATTENDANTS DID NOT COMPLETE THE SAFETY VIDEO AND CHKS PRIOR TO TKOF ROLL. 1 ATTENDANT HAD NOT COMPLETED HER CHKS AND WAS STILL STANDING WHEN THE BRAKES WERE RELEASED. DUE TO THE AGGRESSIVE DEP PROCS AT SNA; THE FLT ATTENDANT FELL AND SPRAINED HER ANKLE. THE CAPT HAD MADE THE PROPER TKOF WARNING CALL. TO PREVENT A RECURRENCE; THE SAFETY VIDEO NEEDS TO BE REPLACED BY A VERBAL BRIEFING FOR SHORT TAXI- OUTS. IN ADDITION; KSNA NEEDS A PROPER HOLDING AREA FOR ACFT READY FOR TKOF AND NOT THE ACR TXWY. FLT ATTENDANTS NEED TO BE BRIEFED TO CALL COCKPIT IF NOT READY FOR TKOF. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 284298: SNA HAS A NOISE ABATEMENT; NONSTANDARD TKOF WHICH REQUIRES THE BRAKES TO BE HELD UNTIL PWR IS RUN UP; WHICH CAUSES RAPID ACCELERATION; STRONGER THAN NORMAL. BECAUSE THE FULL 2 MINS; WHICH THE FLT ATTENDANTS EXPECT; HAD NOT ELAPSED; A FLT ATTENDANT FELL AND INJURED HER ANKLE. THE COMBINATION OF THE DELAY INCURRED BY THE VIDEO TAPE AND THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE 'TAXI INTO POS AND HOLD' CLRNC WITH ANOTHER AIRPLANE ON FINAL WHO PROBABLY WOULD HAVE HAD TO GAR; CONTRIBUTED TO THIS INJURY. HOWEVER; AS CAPT I SHOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN OFF UNTIL THE FULL 2 MINS HAD ELAPSED.
