OPERROR NMAC.
RWY 27L; R AND 17 IN USE. HVY TFC. I SIDE STEPPED ACR X OVER SPEEZE INBOUND TO RWY 27R TO LAND ON RWY 27L BECAUSE THERE WERE 2 OTHER ACFT IN FRONT OF HIM ON FINAL AND GND CTL NEEDED TO GET TFC ACROSS ON TXWY 'L.' I CLRED UGA OVER HYALL TO LAND ON RWY 17 AND THEN DETERMINED I COULD GET ACR Y OUT ON RWY 17 AHEAD OF HIM AND BTWN ACR X INBOUND TO RWY 27L AND ANOTHER ACR TO RWY 27R. WITH UGA ON A 1 1/2 MI FINAL TO RWY 17 I CLRED ACR Y FOR TKOF; ANTICIPATING SEPARATION WHEN HIS FLT PATH WOULD CROSS ACR X'S; AFTER HAVING TOLD HIM; WHEN I PUT HIM INTO POS; THAT ACFT WERE ON FINAL TO RWY 27R AND L. ACR Y APPEARED TO PASS BEHIND ACR X IN THE AIR TO ME BUT ACR X CLAIMED HE FLEW OVER HIM. I RESERVE THE R TO CHANGE THIS STATEMENT IF NEW INFO BECOMES AVAILABLE. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 290791: THE WX WAS VFR AND THE WIND WAS OUT OF THE W AT LESS THAN 10 KTS. AFTER COMPLETING AFTER-START AND TAXI; BEFORE TKOF CHKLISTS; WE WERE CLRED INTO POS FOR TKOF FROM RWY 17 IN THE FOLLOWING FASHION: (QUOTATION IS APPROX) ' AN ACR Y CLRED INTO POS AND HOLD RWY 17; BE READY FOR AN IMMEDIATE; TFC 2 MI FINAL RWY 17 AND SHORT FINAL RWY 27R.' AS WE ROLLED INTO POS WE COMPLETED 'TKOF FINAL ITEMS 'CHKLIST AND BEFORE WE HAD THE ACFT IN POS WE RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING CLRNC.' FLY RWY HDG; CLRED FOR IMMEDIATE TKOF' (QUOTE APR) WE PWRED UP AND THE TKOF ROLL TRANSPIRED NORMALLY. AFTER ROTATION WE PITCHED FOR NORMAL CLB ATTITUDE. AT ABOUT 100 FT AGL I NOTICED A F-100 TO MY L AND AT APPROX THE SAME ALT AND IN RELATIVELY CLOSE PROX (AND CLOSING) A NORMAL CLBOUT WOULD HAVE PROVIDED CLRNC TO PRECLUDE A COLLISION; BUT I INSTINCTIVELY PITCHED HIGHER THAN NORMAL AND WE OVERFLEW THE F-100 BY APPROX 300 FT. WE CONTINUED THE FLT TO GON WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. (I BELIEVE THAT IN AN ATTEMPT TO KEEP TFC MOVING; THE LCL CTLR MISJUDGED THE F-100'S SPD OR DISTANCE AND WE WERE CLRED FOR TKOF (OR POS AND HOLD) TOO EARLY).
