AIRBORNE CONFLICT -- TWICE.

Narrative

ACR; SECOND DAY OF A 2-DAY PAIRING; LAST LEG OF THE FLT SEQUENCE. FO AT CTLS. PHX APCH ASKED IF WE HAD THE NAVAJO TFC (TARGET #1) IN FRONT OF US AND WE ANSWERED 'YES.' HE THEN TOLD US TO PASS ABOVE AND BEHIND THE NAVAJO AND WE WERE CLRED FOR THE VISUAL APCH TO RWY 26R. I READ BACK THE CLRNC; AND THE FO INITIATED A VISUAL DSCNT. ALMOST AT THE SAME TIME; THE ATC CTLR SAID; 'TFC ALERT; STOP YOUR DSCNT.' SIMULTANEOUSLY; THE FO SAW AN ACFT (TARGET #2) BELOW AND TO THE R OF US AND IMMEDIATELY APPLIED PWR AND BEGAN A SLIGHT CLBING L TURN. I RADIOED TO APCH THAT WE WERE IN A CLB. I THEN OBSERVED AN ACFT IN MY FIELD OF VISION AT 11 O'CLOCK (TARGET #3) SLIGHTLY HIGHER THAN US. DURING THIS TIME THE TCASII AURAL ALERT WAS SOUNDING; THE AUTOPLT DISCONNECT HORN WAS SOUNDING; AND I WAS GIVING GUIDANCE TO THE FO TO AVOID TARGET #3. I SCANNED THE TCASII DISPLAY AND SAW TARGET #2 AT OUR POS INDICATING '00' (AT OUR ALT) ALSO THE RA DISPLAY SHOWED THE ARC COMPLETELY RED IN ALL QUADRANTS. AFTER WHAT SEEMED A LIFETIME; WE CLRED ALL TARGETS. APCH CTL GAVE US A HDG OF 350 DEGS AND A CLB TO 6000 FT. BY THIS TIME; WE WERE TOO HIGH FOR THE APCH TO RWY 26R; SO WE WERE GIVEN VECTORS FOR A 270 DEG TURN BACK TO FINAL AND LANDED UNEVENTFULLY. NMAC RPT FILED. THE LOUD VOLUME OF THE TCASII AND AUTOPLT DISCONNECT HORN TOGETHER DEGRADED THE SIT.
