ACR X RWY INCURSION NON ADHERENCE TO ATC INSTRUCTION HAD LTSS FROM ACFT Y CLRED FOR TKOF ON OCCUPIED RWY.
LOW VISIBILITY CONDITIONS DURING LNDG ACR X ROLLOUT ON RWY 7R WHILE SLOWING THE ACFT AND ANTICIPATING A TURN OFF ON TXWY E; ATC REQUESTED OUR POS WHILE WE WERE COMPLETING OUR LNDG ROLLOUT. FO WAS INTERRUPTED FROM DOING LNDG DUTIES AND INFORMED TWR WE WERE BY RWY 19R. ATC THEN GAVE LENGTHY INSTRUCTIONS. UPON HEARING THE TAPE; WE WERE GIVEN INSTRUCTIONS TO 'TURN L ON RWY 19L AND TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 19R ON THE WAY BACK AND CALL WHEN CLR OF THE INTXN.' BEING AWARE OF LNDG TFC BEHIND US ON RWY 7R WE HEARD 'TURN L ON RWY 19R AND CALL CLR OF THE INTXN.' WE EXPEDITED OUR TURN ONTO RWY 19R TO CLR 7R AND CALLED 'CLR OF THE INTXN ON RWY 19R.' THE TWR RESPONDED RWY 19L? THE FO DID NOT READBACK THE CLRNC NOR DID THE TWR REQUEST AND OBTAIN VERIFICATION OF THE HOLD SHORT INSTRUCTION OF RWY 19R. AT THAT POINT WE SAW AN ACFT IN POS ON RWY 19R. AT THE SAME INSTANCE TWR CLRED THAT ACFT FOR TKOF CLRNC AND THEN ASKED US IF WE WERE ON RWY 19R. WE RESPONDED 'AFFIRMATIVE' AS WE EXITED RWY 19R AT TXWY M. THE ELAPSED TIME WAS ABOUT 10 SECONDS. THEN TWR CALLED AND TOLD US WE WERE TO TURN L ON RWY 19L AND CALL CLR OF THE INTXN; WHICH WE UNDERSTOOD TO BE N OF THE INTXN OF RWYS 7R AND 19R. WE RESPONDED 'WE UNDERSTOOD L ON RWY 19R.' TWR TOLD US TO GIVE THEM A CALL. AT NO TIME WERE WE ADVISED THAT THERE WAS DEPARTING TFC ON RWY 19R. THE ATC INSTRUCTIONS WERE WORDY AND MENTIONED RWYS 19L AND 19R IN THE SAME SENTENCE ALONG WITH OTHER INSTRUCTIONS AT THE WRONG TIME DURING A CRITICAL PHASE OF FLT FOLLOWING A LOW VISIBILITY LNDG. WE COMPLIED WITH THE ATC INSTRUCTIONS AS WE UNDERSTOOD THEM. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 302961: BEING AWARE OF LNDG TFC BEHIND US ON RWY 7R WE HEARD 'TURN L ON RWY 19R AND CALL CLR OF THE INTXN.' WE EXPEDITED OUR TURN ONTO RWY 19R TO CLR RWY 7R AND CALLED CLR OF THE INTXN ON RWY 19R. THE TWR RESPONDED RWY 19L? THE FO DID NOT READBACK THE CLRNC NOR DID THE TWR REQUEST AND OBTAIN VERIFICATION OF THE HOLD SHORT INSTRUCTION FOR RWY 19R. AT THAT POINT WE SAW AN ACFT IN POS ON RWY 19R. AT THE SAME INSTANCE; TWR CLRED THAT ACFT FOR TKOF BUT THE ACFT RESPONDED THAT THERE WAS AN ACFT ON RWY 19R. TWR CANCELED THEIR TKOF CLRNC AND THEN ASKED US IF WE WERE ON RWY 19R. WE RESPONDED 'AFFIRMATIVE' AS WE EXITED RWY 19R AT TXWY M. THE ELAPSED TIME WAS ABOUT 10 SECONDS.
